Achin’ Back Farm is located right here on Signal Mountain.

We raise chickens for both eggs and meat. They are antibiotic, hormone, and GMO free. They live a wonderful life in the pastures, woods, sun and fresh air of our beautiful mountain. They eat a varied diet of grasses, plants, bugs and worms just as nature intended. To ensure a healthy diet we supplement with non-GMO grains. You can be confident that your meat and eggs have been raised less than 10 miles from your home.

Often times when you buy supermarket eggs they have travelled hundreds or thousands of miles. They could have been laid 4-6 weeks ago, you really have no idea. Our eggs are raised just 10 miles from the farmer’s market, and are always less than a week old.

We also have Honey in season (June-fall). We maintain our hives on Signal Mountain in a bee friendly way. No harmful chemicals, no nasty insecticides. Our bees are so close that they may have even visited your yard. We’ve been told by people all over the country that our honey is the best they’ve ever tasted. We even won two awards in a 2017 competition.
